Meet Kate

Kate Shanahan has been proudly serving the dental community as a Henry Schein Sales Consultant since 2008. She is a Raleigh native and loves calling North Carolina home. She loves to exercise, spend time outdoors, and heads to the beach every chance she gets. When she is not helping her customers, Kate is an avid and passionate traveler. A natural goal setter, Kate has travelled by herself to all seven continents. She married her husband Marc in 2015 in Wrightsville Beach, and they currently live in downtown Raleigh with their pets Gracie, Oscar and Skeezie.

When asked what she loves most about her career, Kate says, “It’s the people. The relationships I have built over the last several years bring a great deal of happiness to my life. When you work with people you love, and your job revolves around making your customers successful, it is very rewarding. I succeed when they succeed.

The dental industry is constantly evolving. It is my responsibility to positively adapt and encourage my customers to do the same. My professional values revolve around honesty, having a positive attitude, hard work, education, dedication and compassion. I tell it like it is, and seek joy in everything that I do.”
